​Carbon County PA, The GATEWAY to the Magnificent Poconos, is best known probably for the quaint little town of Jim Thorpe. With it's location along the Lehigh Gorge and it's amenities of Old Railroad, Museums, Restaurants, State Parks and Lakes and Mountainsides, Jim Thorpe is a Destination sought by many vacationers and adventure seekers. ​

After visiting historic Jim Thorpe, many folks decide that they then want a place of their own in Carbon County PA to enjoy all four seasons of mountain adventures. Located just off of the Scenic State Route 903 from Lake Harmony down to The Lehigh Gorge, there is a kaleidoscope of quaint communities whose homeowners enjoy lakes, beaches, wildlife, hiking, biking and more activities with just a short drive down through the Gorge to Jim Thorpe Town itself.
